One install, the whole market

One market, four what-ifs

Every dot is one of the model's 341 variables, in ten groups by the part of the market it controls.

Where it differs

Questions people ask

Is it a backtester?
It does the same job in a different way. A backtest replays old prices, and tradefloor makes new markets where your orders move the price.
Does it use real market data?
The prices are always simulated. The companies can be generated or built from real SEC filings.
Is the market realistic?
The default model passes all 40 checks written down from real markets, the crashes of 2008 and 2020 among them.
Is tradefloor free?
The library is free and open source, with no account and no usage limits.
